Ubisoft apparently was not kidding when he said that the genre of dance will be the new ruler in the field of music games.

The publisher states that they have sold more than 5 million copies of Just Dance 2, to the players around the world since its launch in October 2010.

Total sales from the franchise reached the figure of more than 10 million copies worldwide.

“Good Performance of Just Dance 2 is a perfect example of achievement that can be achieved by an independent publisher like Ubisoft in presenting compelling content for the Wii,” said Nintendo president of America , Reggie Fils-Aime.

Last week, Ubisoft announced their other dance games available on Wii, DS, and PSP, “Michael Jackson The Experience”, has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. Version “Kinect” and “Move”, will be launched next April.
